This included assisting with quarterly rainwater sampling events at each of the airports. DiNapoli Capital Partners, Assessment – Phoenix, Arizona Served as Project Scientist to conduct a Phase I ESA at a prominent downtown hotel. It was discovered that the property lies within the boundaries of the groundwater contamination plume emanating from the Motorola 52nd Street National Priorities List site. A concern existed for vapor intrusion into the building. It was also discovered that a portion of the basement of the building formerly housed a drycleaning unit that used perchloroethylene. Conducted a Vapor Intrusion Assessment of the indoor air of the structure to determine if chemical vapors of concern associated with the aforementioned National Priorities List site were present and communicated with the client prior to publishing the report that a Phase II investigation would be required to verify whether or not the old drycleaning unit was a source of contamination to the subsurface.
