The amendment is a contract renewal and modification for the procurement of towels and washcloths for Florida correctional facilities, with Tabb Textiles continuing as the contracted supplier.
The amendment renews the contract for an additional three-year term, ending December 10, 2024, and updates several contract provisions including contact management information, termination conditions, and pricing. The revised pricing shows a unit cost of $10.87 per dozen for towels and $1.79 per dozen for washcloths, with estimated annual quantities of 40,440 dozens of towels and 246,750 dozens of washcloths. The total estimated annual contract value is $881,265.30. The towels and washcloths must be white, institutional grade, dense loop terry, minimum 85% cotton, and designed to maintain shape with hemmed edges. The contract includes provisions for cooperative purchasing, allowing other Florida state agencies to potentially utilize the contract subject to cost-effectiveness review.
