About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment No. 1) to a contract between the State of Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and Radey Thomas Yon & Clark, P.A. (doing business as Radey Law Firm). The amendment modifies an existing contract (AHCA Contract No. EXD092) involving legal services, with both parties agreeing to a contract modification in April 2020.

The amendment extends the contract period, specifically establishing a new contract duration from February 25, 2021, to June 30, 2022. This renewal is exercised in accordance with Section 287.058 of Florida Statutes, which allows contract renewals up to three years or the original contract term, whichever is longer. The amendment represents the first renewal option for a twelve-month period beginning July 1, 2021. All other provisions of the original contract not in conflict with this amendment remain in effect, and the document was signed by key representatives from both the law firm and the state agency in June 2021.
