About this file

This document is an Amendment to an Emergency Contract issued by the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), involving TransCore ITS, LLC. The amendment, designated as Amendment Number 1, was executed on 09/19/2023, modifying the original agreement (No. H9061) from 8/29/2023. The contract pertains to Emergency Support of The Florida ITS Operations Network Related to Hurricane Idalia, with the primary purpose of adding applicable federal contract terms to the existing agreement.

The amendment incorporates additional federal contract terms related to environmental compliance, specifically the Clean Air Act, Federal Water Pollution Control Act, and Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment. These terms require the contractor to comply with environmental standards, report violations, and include specific provisions in subcontracts exceeding $150,000 that are financed with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance. The contract appears to be an emergency response mechanism for supporting intelligent transportation systems (ITS) infrastructure in the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia, with various FM (Financial Management) numbers indicated, suggesting multiple potential project sites or funding sources.
