About this file

This is an Amendment to a Standard Professional Services Agreement between the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Castillo Engineering, Inc., specifically Amendment Number 4 to the original Agreement No. CA867 which was initially executed on 4/20/2020. The contract involves Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) services for a Park and Ride Facility located at Miramar Boulevard and Hiatus Road, with FDOT's District Four Procurement Services Office in Fort Lauderdale overseeing the contract.

The amendment increases the total maximum limiting amount from $1,021,461.40 to $1,059,330.28 by adding $37,868.88 to the contract. This additional funding is to cover staffing for ongoing construction work, address construction delays, continue CEI services concurrent with the construction timeline, complete the final estimate, and address any unforeseen issues. The amendment also extends the service time period for completion of basic project services through 3/1/2023. The contract was procured through a Request for Proposal method and is set to run from 04/20/2020 to 04/19/2030, with the total contract/budgetary ceiling now at $1,059,330.28.
