Contract No. BEK79 Exhibit A – Scope of Services

Task 2: Software Maintenance

This task will involve performing maintenance actions for the UF-BSI software packages.

Maintenance actions that will be performed are as follows:

Identify, catalog, document, and rank (by severity) any issues/errors/limitations that are identified internally (by UF-BSI) or by licensed users. Such software issues/errors/limitations may be the result of:

Changes in computer technology (operating systems, graphics hardware, etc.)

Software coding errors and/or coding limitations.

Document the scope of software use that is affected by issues/errors/limitations: i.e., user interface, graphical visualization, analysis engine, help manuals, licensing, website, etc.

For purposes of determining whether issues/errors/limitations will be addressed by software revision, or by workaround development, or by documentation of known limitations, UF-BSI will rank identified issues/errors/limitations by factors including, but not limited to: error severity, frequency of occurrence, and estimated number of users affected.

Deliverable 2: A written memorandum summarizing software maintenance actions that were taken during the contract period.

Task 3: Software Enhancement (FB-MultiPier) – Inclusion of Gap Modeling for Lateral Soil Resistance.

The FB-MultiPier program provides the capability to model soil structure interaction in lateral, axial, tortional and tip resistance conditions. Lateral soil resistance is modeled using nonlinear p-y curves, and multiple lateral soil models are available with the program to represent a variety of soil types and site conditions.

For FL Limestone applications, contractors may predrill pilot holes through the limestone prior to driving the pile and subsequently backfill the annular space surrounding the pile. Under these conditions, the lateral pile response within the annular backfill zone is governed initially by the lower stiffness modulus of the backfill material before mobilizing the surrounding FL Limestone p-y resistance. Accurately representing this transitional “gap” behavior will improve modelling of pile deflection response and soil-structural interaction for these installation conditions.

Contract No. BEK79

For this update, it is proposed that an advanced soil properties feature be implemented that allows the user to define the annular gap dimensions and corresponding backfill modulus properties. The program will utilize these inputs to compute the lateral “gap” behavior prior to engagement of the native limestone p-y curves.

As part of this task, revisions will be made to the FB-MultiPier user interface (UI), analytical engine, and help documentation to support modeling of the lateral soil resistance “gap” behavior.

Implementation of this feature will require enhancements to the Advanced Soil Properties dialog, accessible through the Soil page within the FB-MultiPier UI, along with corresponding updates to the analytical engine calculations. The “gap” feature will be definable independently for the Xp and Yp directions and may vary linearly from the top to bottom of a given soil layer.

Deliverable 3: A written memorandum that documents implementation of enhancements to the Advanced Soil Properties dialog into FB-MultiPier; updated software installation files; and revised help documentation for the updated FB-MultiPier software.

Task 4: Technology Transfer

Technology transfer involves disseminating technical information and software updates for UF-BSI software packages (during July 2026 - June 2027) and two 2-hour technical presentations as described below. Example technology transfer actions that will be performed are as follows:

Publish to the UF-BSI website technical documentation that describes program updates and enhancements: 1) in summary form (newsletters), and 2) in detailed form (help manuals, technical manuals).

Publish revised validation documents using the latest updated UF-BSI software packages.

Create installation packages for updated UF-BSI software packages and revise the UF-BSI website to distribute these updated installation packages to licensed users.

Create and publish, online, concise technical video tutorials illustrating selected aspects of UF- BSI software usage.

Technical presentations: BSI software training workshop. UF-BSI will conduct two (2) software training workshops, each 2-hours in duration, for up to 50 FDOT engineers. One will focus on the FB-MultiPier program showcasing advanced features like shallow foundation, tentatively scheduled for Fall 2026 and one workshop will focus on the FB-Deep or GeoStat program, tentatively scheduled for Spring 2027. Each attendee will pre-install a copy of the most recently released official version of FB-MultiPier/FB-Deep/GeoStat. The workshop will involve presentation of technical materials, live demonstrations, and technical assistance for all attendees.

Deliverable 4: Upon completion of the BSI software training workshop, UF-BSI will provide FDOT with PDF copies of technical materials presented during the workshop, and a memorandum summarizing workshop attendance.

Contract No. BEK79

CONSUMER DISCLOSURE

From time to time, DocuSign, Inc. (we, us or Company) may be required by law to provide to you certain written notices or disclosures. Described below are the terms and conditions for providing to you such notices and disclosures electronically through the DocuSign, Inc.

(DocuSign) electronic signing system. Please read the information below carefully and thoroughly, and if you can access this information electronically to your satisfaction and agree to these terms and conditions, please confirm your agreement by clicking the ‘I agree’ button at the bottom of this document.

Getting paper copies

At any time, you may request from us a paper copy of any record provided or made available electronically to you by us. You will have the ability to download and print documents we send to you through the DocuSign system during and immediately after signing session and, if you elect to create a DocuSign signer account, you may access them for a limited period of time (usually 30 days) after such documents are first sent to you. After such time, if you wish for us to send you paper copies of any such documents from our office to you, you will be charged a $0.10 per-page fee. You may request delivery of such paper copies from us by following the procedure described below.

Withdrawing your consent

If you decide to receive notices and disclosures from us electronically, you may at any time change your mind and tell us that thereafter you want to receive required notices and disclosures only in paper format. How you must inform us of your decision to receive future notices and disclosure in paper format and withdraw your consent to receive notices and disclosures electronically is described below.

Consequences of changing your mind

If you elect to receive required notices and disclosures only in paper format, it will slow the speed at which we can complete certain steps in transactions with you and delivering services to you because we will need first to send the required notices or disclosures to you in paper format, and then wait until we receive back from you your acknowledgment of your receipt of such paper notices or disclosures. To indicate to us that you are changing your mind, you must withdraw your consent using the DocuSign ‘Withdraw Consent’ form on the signing page of a DocuSign envelope instead of signing it. This will indicate to us that you have withdrawn your consent to receive required notices and disclosures electronically from us and you will no longer be able to use the DocuSign system to receive required notices and consents electronically from us or to sign electronically documents from us.

All notices and disclosures will be sent to you electronically

Unless you tell us otherwise in accordance with the procedures described herein, we will provide electronically to you through the DocuSign system all required notices, disclosures, authorizations, acknowledgements, and other documents that are required to be provided or made available to you during the course of our relationship with you. To reduce the chance of you inadvertently not receiving any notice or disclosure, we prefer to provide all of the required notices and disclosures to you by the same method and to the same address that you have given

us. Thus, you can receive all the disclosures and notices electronically or in paper format through the paper mail delivery system. If you do not agree with this process, please let us know as described below. Please also see the paragraph immediately above that describes the consequences of your electing not to receive delivery of the notices and disclosures
