About this file
This document is a Contractor's Time Extension Request from the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), submitted by Creative Management Technology, Inc. The request pertains to Contract No. BEC44-R1, with a Financial Project ID of 435504-1-72-31, specifically referencing Work Doc Number TWO #7. The document involves a time extension request due to weather-related and contract-related delays, involving the Department Engineer Brahim Sahraoui and the contractor's representative Jonathan Morgans.
The time extension request outlines multiple weather-related delays totaling 30 days, including periods from September 12-26 (14 days), September 26-October 11 (14 days due to Hurricane Ian), and November 5-13 (8 days due to Hurricane Nicole). The contractor reports inability to access work areas due to standing water and challenging conditions. The Department ultimately approved a total of 41 days of time extension, with each period of delay being reviewed and approved by Carol Hatfield, the Operations Program Engineer. The document was signed and dated by both the contractor's representative and the department engineer in late November 2022.

II. Description of Delay:
Due to weather that happened from September 12th-26nd, we need 14 days for weather. Then we had Ian and we need another 14 days from Sept 26th- 11th October. And now we have Nicole from nov 5th-13th. Another 8 days.
We need an extension for 30 days at this point. We are also still dealing with wet areas that we cannot get to at this time so additional days may be needed. The contractor cannot access the area because it's still holding water and making it difficult to complete the work
