About this file

This document is a Standard Written Agreement Modification #1 between the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and IBI Group Professional Services (USA), Inc., located in Pompano Beach, Florida. The modification pertains to the original agreement signed on 6/21/2019 for the PedSafe/Greenway Software Development Package, with the specific procurement number ITN-DOT-18-19-5001-RMC.

The modification extends the contract term by two months, from June 22, 2023, to August 21, 2023, and adds $9,860.00 to the total compensation, bringing the overall contract value to $2,674,680.00. The scope of work update focuses on revising the RAJ-P subsystem concept of operations, specifically replacing Progressive Web Applications with back-end software modules to allow multiple connected vehicle applications to be concurrently available in a single mobile application. The additional funding will cover two iterations of draft and final concept of operations documents, with the understanding that a subsequent scope modification may be needed to detail further changes to the subsystem schedule and scope.

RE: ITN‐DOT‐18‐19‐5001‐RMC | PedSafe/Greenway Software Development Package

Based on the needs of the project and the Department, IBI Group is required to submit the following scope of work modification for the above referenced project. The requested changes will impact the project schedule and cost, and more specifically, the concept of operations, functional requirements, preliminary design and development of the RAJ‐P subsystem (previously known as the OBU Emulator subsystem). A comprehensive update of the project schedule and budget will be developed and submitted as part of a second scope of work modification once the previously submitted RAJ‐P subsystem concept of operations document is updated to reflect these changes, and agreed upon with and approved by the Department.

Initial Scope of Work Modification

Additional Scope

Update the RAJ‐P subsystem concept of operations to reflect and incorporate all relevant use case and functional changes. Central to this change is the need to replace the use of Progressive Web Applications (PWA), developed by IBI Group and third party developers, with the use of back‐end software modules, in the implementation of CV applications. The objective of this change to allow one, multiple or all implemented CV applications to be made concurrently available/active for end users of a single mobile application (RAJ‐P mobile app), developed as part of this project.

The following areas of the RAJ‐P subsystem concept of operations require revision:

High‐Level System Overview

User Needs

Background, Objectives, and Scope changes for the various functional modules of the RAJ‐P subsystem.

Assumptions and Constraints

Risks

Operational Scenarios

Should you have any questions, require additional information, or would like to discuss these scope changes further, please contact the undersigned.

Schedule
