About this file

This document is a Railroad Reimbursement Master Agreement dated September 15, 1998, between the State of Florida Department of Transportation and CSX Transportation, Inc., a Virginia-based corporation headquartered in Jacksonville. The agreement establishes a master framework for collaborative transportation infrastructure projects involving railroad crossings, right-of-way modifications, and related engineering work across various locations in Florida.

The specific contract detailed in this document covers Preliminary Engineering services for a project on SR 60/Brandon Boulevard in Hillsborough County, with a Change Order No. 1 issued on December 9, 2020 authorizing $20,000 for Preliminary Engineering, CEI (Construction Engineering and Inspection), and Flagging Services. The work involves paving activities within the CSX right-of-way and adjacent minor repairs. The project is funded through a Rollup Rail Safety Hazard Elimination program, is associated with state funds, and is subject to Buy America requirements. The agreement establishes that CSX will provide necessary engineering estimates, plans, and services, with the Florida Department of Transportation responsible for compensating the company for approved costs according to specified reimbursement policies.
