About this file

This document is Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. PL356 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Department) and Bryant Miller Olive P.A. (Contractor), a law firm located in Tallahassee, Florida. The amendment modifies the original contract, which was initially effective May 31, 2018, and involves a professional services agreement between a state environmental agency and a legal services provider.

The contract covers real estate title insurance services for land acquisition and land management projects, including ownership and encumbrance (O&E) reports, title search reports, title commitments, title searches, search updates, title policies, and related closing services. Through this amendment, the parties exercise their option to renew the contract for an additional three-year term from April 30, 2019, to April 29, 2022. The amendment also updates key provisions, including contract managers' contact information, adds a certification regarding boycotts of Israel, and replaces the public records paragraph with a more detailed Attachment K outlining specific public records requirements and access procedures.
