About this file
This document is a Task Assignment Notification Form for an appraisal review services contract between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Property Valuation & Consulting, Inc. The contract is part of the Strategic Managed Areas Land List project for Silver Springs State Park in Marion County, Florida. The specific task assignment is related to the Carter Family Trust property, with DEP Contract Manager Jay F. Scott overseeing the project.
The task involves a technical review of a draft appraisal for a proposed land transaction, specifically a 9.86-acre property (3 acres upland, 6.86 acres wetlands) located along the Silver River. The fixed-price task cost is $3,400.00, funded through the Florida Forever program. The contractor is required to perform a field review of the subject property, provide a draft review document, and submit an Appraisal Review Report within 21 days of receiving the work to be reviewed. The scope does not include developing an independent opinion of the property's value, but rather reviewing an existing draft appraisal to ensure it meets specified standards.
