About this file
This is Amendment No. 14 to Agency Term Contract No. GC811, a rate increase amendment executed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Department) and Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. (Contractor). The original contract was executed on February 17, 2014, to provide petroleum contamination site response action services in the North Region of Florida. The amendment was signed on May 14, 2024, by Eric Sager, Sr. Principal for Geosyntec Consultants, Inc., and Jessica Kramer, Deputy Secretary for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
Amendment No. 14 increases rates across 231 pay items in the contractor's rate schedule, effective for new work assignments offered on or after June 10, 2024 (the Rate Change Date). Rate increases range from approximately 2.85% to 5.00%, with most items receiving the maximum 5% increase authorized under contract provision 11.B.ii. Pay items include field services such as sampling and drilling, laboratory analysis for soil and water testing, remediation system design and installation, equipment mobilization, waste disposal, and professional services including engineering and geological oversight. The new rates are documented in Attachment D (Rate Schedule V3.5), replacing the prior rate schedule (V3.4). All work assignments offered prior to the Rate Change Date continue to apply the previous rate schedule. The amendment does not add, delete, or modify any line items in the contract, only adjusts the rates as specified in Table 1.
