For Elevated Sections of Dune Crossovers GMP Proposal
This GMP Proposal has been prepared based on the 100% Construction Documents by Anderson Engineers, PA., dated Jan. 06, 2014, and the following Clarifications, Qualifications and Assumptions.
It is understood that various allowances are included in this GMP Proposal as indicated throughout the estimate.

Division 06 – Wood and Plastics
Clarifications, qualifications and assumptions related to Division 06:
▫ Lumber and Rough Carpentry This proposal includes all pilings.
4”x6” ACQ treated Southern Pine timber pilings Report of Existing Conditions prepared by JGP, dated 2/28/14 indicates numerous deficiencies with regard to the existing dune crossovers, and includes recommendations in addition to the work that is being performed and incorporated in this proposal. This proposal does not include any other work than that specifically note on the 100% drawings provided by Anderson Engineer, PA and described herein.
This proposal does not include any work associated with existing hardware, fasteners, connections or structure (handrails, stairs, joists, beams, cross-bracing, etc.), modification, removal, repair or replacement of existing vertical support posts except what is indicated in the drawings and as noted in these Qualifications.

SITE UTILIZATION AND PHASING NARRATIVE
Refer to the attached Site Utilization and Phasing Plan as prepared by Ajax Building Corporation and included in Section V-B of this proposal for the illustration of the below listed items.
SITE UTILIZATION PLAN NARRATIVE
A detailed Site Utilization and Phasing Plan has been prepared by Ajax Building Corporation and is attached for the illustration of the below listed items.
Public Access
Public access will be blocked at the entry point of each of the affected Dune Crossovers.
The work at all three of the Dune Crossovers will be performed simultaneously.
All parties involved (Park staff, Owner, Subcontractors) will be notified prior to the commencement of work.
Site Security
All materials, tools and equipment will either be removed from the site or locked in storage containers if left on-site.
Work areas will remain blocked to public access when workers are not present.
Debris Removal
Roll-off containers will be supplied and maintained by Ajax Building Corporation for removing construction debris from the project site.
All roll-off container pulls will be scheduled by Ajax Building Corporation’s Project Superintendent.
Unless otherwise dictated by the progress/requirements of the project, Ajax Building Corporation will endeavor to perform all roll-off container pulls during business hours.
Tree Protection / Erosion Control / Barricades
Erosion Control: All silt fencing, hay bales and other erosion control measures required by the Contract
Documents will be installed prior to the commencement of site work.
Vehicle and Equipment Paths
All Subcontractors have been notified that vehicles and equipment will not be permitted on the dunes, although personnel will need to access areas below and adjacent to the dune crossovers. It is expected that there will be minimal impact to the dunes mostly due to limited foot traffic required for installation of piles/ posts.
On-Site Material Storage
Storage Containers: Various materials, equipment and fabricated items will be stored in Connex-type trailers, tractor trailers and storage boxes within the fenced area of the project site. All storage containers will be locked during non-work hours.
Open Material Storage: Various materials, equipment and fabricated items that do not lend themselves to be stored in containers will be stored and/or staged on the project site. Such items will be stored on dunnage and protected from the elements as necessary to ensure that that quality and condition of the items is not jeopardized.
Temporary Facilities
Temporary Power:
o Temporary electrical service for tolls and equipment (if needed) will be sourced from gas powered porable generators..
Temporary Water:
o Temporary water service for the jobsite will be obtained from the closest source (fresh water hydrant) at no cost to Ajax Building Corporation or its Subcontractors.
Temporary Sanitary Sewer:
o In such cases where portable toilet facilities (port-o-lets) are required, those facilities will be serviced two (2) times per week or as otherwise necessary when they are in use.
Construction Traffic, Parking and Deliveries
Construction Employees and Personnel: Construction employees and personnel will utilize the jetty parking area.
Parking for Construction workers will remain as far west as possible. Any overflow of Construction personnel parking will be coordinated with the park and DEP.
Construction Deliveries: General construction related deliveries will utilize the jobsite Entrance gate for access to the project site.
Maintenance of Site
Ajax Building Corporation will maintain all erosion control measures, construction storage areas, and construction parking areas to ensure safety and an acceptable appearance. It is assumed that the Owner will continue to maintain all other areas outside the construction site or not occupied by Ajax Building Corporation.
The site will be monitored for trash, debris, and general housekeeping. Cleanup and housekeeping will be performed on a regular basis as necessary to ensure safety and an acceptable appearance.
Emergency Contact Information
Emergency Contacts: The following is a list of emergency contact numbers for Ajax personnel assigned to the project.

SCHEDULE NARRATIVE
Refer to the attached Master Project Schedule dated Jan. 13, 2015 as prepared by Ajax Building Corporation and included in Section VI-B of this proposal for the illustration of the below listed items.
The project schedule included within this proposal is based on the information represented in the GMP Documents.
The project schedule reflects an overall duration of six (6) weeks for the construction phase of the project.
The following contractual dates are incorporated into the CM Contract via this GMP Proposal.
▪ Substantial Completion April 29, 2015
▪ Final Completion May 06, 2015
The following additional Milestone Dates are anticipated within the project schedule in order to achieve the contractual dates listed above.
▪ Mobilization / Start of Construction Feb. 19, 2015
▪ Owner Occupancy May 06, 2015
In order for construction activities to commence on Feb. 19, 2015 as scheduled, the following contractual activities will need to be completed as indicated.
▪ GMP Negotiations Complete Feb. 02, 2015
▪ Notice to Proceed Issued Feb. 17, 2015
▪ CM Contract Amendment Executed Feb. 18, 2015
Should any of the above listed dates not be met and therefore delay the commencement and/or progress of construction, the contractual substantial and final completion dates noted above will require extension on a day for day basis. Additionally, a revision to the General Conditions costs may also need to be revised if the final completion dates are affected enough to extend past the final completion date of the Pier Store project (currently April 7, 2015).
Ajax Building Corporation will continue to work closely with the Project Team throughout the Preconstruction and Construction Phases of the project to ensure that all critical dates are maintained.
