This is a scope of work document for the City of Livonia, Michigan, detailing the seasonal closure and reopening of the recreation center spray pad facility. The project requires the contractor to close the spray pad by October 5, 2026, and complete all reopening preparations to have the facility operational by May 21, 2027. The work encompasses winterization procedures for the closure phase and spring startup procedures for the reopening phase, ensuring the spray pad is properly maintained during the off-season and ready for public use at the start of the summer recreational season.

The document specifies detailed procedural requirements for both closure and reopening operations, including inspection protocols, maintenance tasks, and compliance with local regulations. The contractor must coordinate with City of Livonia Parks and Recreation Department staff and adhere to all safety standards and equipment specifications outlined in the scope of work. Pricing terms, funding sources, and specific contract award details are not detailed in this scope of work document, which serves primarily as a technical specification guide for the work to be performed during the designated seasonal transition periods.
