About this file
This document is an item description for a low pressure air hose assembly with technical specifications and requirements. The 2-inch diameter, 25-foot long hose assembly must meet specific standards for working pressure, burst pressure, bend radius, and temperature range. It requires synthetic rubber inner tube and outer cover, multiple spiral-plied synthetic textile reinforcement, and stainless steel crimp ferrules and brass cam and groove quick disconnect couplings. The hose must be hydrostatically tested, marked with manufacturer information, and provided with written certification of the assembly process and testing.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime to procure petroleum hoses, likely on a firm fixed-price supply contract with FOB destination delivery to Bremerton, WA. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside under commercial and simplified acquisition procedures. Offerors must comply with NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity requirements and provide detailed information in their responses, including lead time, manufacturer, and country of origin.
