About this file
This file contains procurement portal instructions and vendor registration guidance for the City of Charlotte's On-Call Legal Services solicitation (Project #269-2027-2219). The City of Charlotte, operating through its Bonfire e-Procurement Portal, is seeking on-call outside counsel to provide legal services across multiple substantive practice areas. The services include legal analyses, oral and written opinions and advice, drafting of legal documents and instruments such as contracts, leases, rules, and procedures, as well as representation of the city in court proceedings at trial and appellate levels and before administrative agencies, arbitrators, and other tribunals. All proposals must be submitted electronically through the Bonfire Portal (https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/142282) on or before the posted due date. Vendors must register through the platform prior to accessing solicitation documents and submitting proposals, and the city recommends allowing at least one or more business days before the deadline to complete the submission process.
Prospective vendors must access the solicitation through the Bonfire Portal, where all submission and question submissions must occur electronically. The portal is compatible with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox, with JavaScript and browser cookies enabled. Vendors are responsible for monitoring the City of Charlotte's Procurement Portal for any addenda or changes to the project by searching Bid #269-2027-2219. Technical support is available through Bonfire's help forum, email (Support@GoBonfire.com), or telephone (1-800-354-8010). The file does not specify pricing terms, funding amounts, contract duration, renewal options, or other specific financial or contractual terms beyond the scope of legal services to be provided on an on-call basis.
