About this file
This document provides procurement portal instructions for the City of Charlotte's Project 269-2026-121, an On-Call Sustainability Services solicitation. The project is being conducted through the City of Charlotte's Bonfire electronic procurement portal. All interested vendors must register through the portal at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com/login to access the solicitation, submit questions via the Vendor Discussions section, and submit responses. The City strongly recommends allowing sufficient time—ideally one or more business days prior to the deadline—to upload and finalize submissions, as large documents may require extended upload periods depending on file size and internet connection speed. All submissions must be uploaded, submitted, and finalized prior to the project's posted due date through the portal's opportunities section.
The solicitation is part of a limited pilot program that includes solicitations across multiple categories including Architecture and Engineering Services, Commodities, Construction, Services, and Technology, conducted by City Procurement and Charlotte Water. Vendors must access the portal using Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox with JavaScript and browser cookies enabled. Technical support is available through Bonfire's help forum at https://vendorsupport.gobonfire.com/hc/en-us, via email at Support@GoBonfire.com, or by telephone at 1-800-354-8010. A five-minute training video on vendor registration and submission is available through the Bonfire Vendor Support website.
