About this file

This file is a Schedule of Items (SOI) for the China Wall Staging Area Trailhead Expansion project, issued by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service. The project involves constructing additional paved parking areas and includes multiple line items for site preparation, construction, and infrastructure improvements. Key work elements include mobilization, construction survey, soil erosion control, clearing and grubbing, excavation, embankment, geosynthetics installation, riprap placement, aggregate base course preparation, asphalt concrete paving, pipe installation, barrier rock relocation, and optional tasks such as slurry sealing, full depth reclamation, toilet installation, and traffic control signage.

The SOI provides detailed pricing specifications across six potential options, with specific quantities and unit prices for each line item. Notable requirements include pricing each item for award consideration, potential bonding requirements for awards over $30,000, and a bid bond of 20% for responses exceeding $150,000. The project scope encompasses site preparation, infrastructure enhancement, and accessibility improvements for the China Wall OHV staging area, with the contractor responsible for obtaining Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan permits and any necessary encroachment permits.
