About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a Consulting Engineering Services Request for Proposal issued by Chevy Chase Village, Maryland. The Village is seeking proposals from a single consulting engineering firm to provide services including stormwater drainage and runoff management on private and public property, traffic engineering, planning, and surveying. The consulting firm may assign different consultants to specialized tasks as needed, though only one primary firm will be retained. The document addresses clarifications regarding submission requirements, including that Certificates of Good Standing must be current within 30 to 90 days of submission and that letters of interest require signatures from authorized officers, which may be provided as original hard copies, scanned versions, or authorized digital signatures.
Key technical requirements established through the Q&A process specify that the Village relies on Montgomery County Department of Public Services and Maryland Department of the Environment Environmental Site Design criteria in addition to Village ordinances per Chapter 8-BUILDINGS-AND-BUILDING-REGULATIONS, and that land surveying deliverables must be provided in Maryland State Plane coordinates (NAD83/NAVD88) for integration into the Village's GIS asset management database. Traffic engineering services must follow standardized Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration and Institute of Transportation Engineers guidelines, including 24 to 48-hour automated traffic recorder volume and speed counts with 85th percentile speed threshold analysis. Hourly rates are to remain firm for the contract term and should be all-inclusive of mileage, overhead, and profit as detailed in the Scope of Work billing rules. The Village indicated that no Minority Business Enterprise requirements apply to this solicitation, attendance at evening Board meetings will generally occur virtually with travel time being non-billable, and no addenda have been issued at the time of this Q&A document.

Answer – No there is only the one consulting company.

Answer – Yes
11. Addenda Acknowledgment: Please confirm if any addenda have been issued to date for this solicitation so that we may properly acknowledge them within our submittal.
