Companies listed on the Investment Activities in Iran list, along with their parent companies, successors, subunits, direct or indirect subsidiaries, and entities under common ownership or control, are ineligible to bid on or renew contracts with State agencies or public bodies in Maryland. The certification requirement applies only to new contracts and renewals; existing contracts with listed companies are not required to be terminated. Authorized representatives must sign and date the certification form, with witness attestation required.
