Explanation The original contract was awarded to the University Hospitals Medical Group for these services as a result of an agency competitive selection in FY 2018 and approved by the Controlling Board (DMR0100425). His expertise includes intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders. He has a unique familiarity with the residents at WDC which helps provide consistent care.

The Department is requesting to contract with the University Hospitals Medical Group in FY26-27, with a 1% increase in the hourly rate for the psychiatrist each fiscal year from the rate contracted in FY24-25.
