Statement of Work Summary: AECW Warehouse Supply Cages
This Statement of Work defines requirements for the purchase, delivery, assembly, and installation of three interconnected wire mesh warehouse caging units for the Army Expeditionary Civilian Work Force (AECW) at Building 448, Camp Atterbury, Indiana. The contractor must provide 10-gauge wire mesh with 2" x 1" diamond or square pattern, installed to a height of 10.5 feet, with full wire mesh ceilings and keyed cylinder locks on all doors. Each cage includes a 4' x 8' sliding door centered on the North Wall. The three cages consist of: Navy Cage (CLIN 0001) extending 18 ft 7 in. west and 23 ft south; DIA Cage (CLIN 0002) extending 19 ft 10.5 in. west and 23 ft south with C-Channel stiffeners; and AECW Excess Cage (CLIN 0003) extending 28' 9-3/8" west and 23 ft south with C-Channel stiffeners. All units anchor to concrete pillars (9 inches high, 3 inches deep) and vertical support I-Beams with approximate 4.5:1 rise on south walls.
The contractor must deliver and install within three months of contract award, coordinate offloading at the facility's loading dock, and remove all packaging materials. Standard work hours are 0800–1630, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays, with any deviations requiring AECW Point of Contact approval. No security clearance is required. The contractor provides all tools and equipment, though AECW has an on-site forklift available for assistance. Post-award requirements include: a minimum 1-year manufacturer warranty and 1-year workmanship warranty (CLIN 0004), and submission of CAD or shop drawings for approval before manufacturing (CLIN 0005) to ensure proper understanding of interconnected dimensions between parties.

Statement of Work (SOW): AECW Warehouse Supply Cages
I. Introduction
This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for the purchase, delivery, assembly, and installation of wire mesh warehouse caging for the Army Expeditionary Civilian Work Force (AECW).
• Location: Building 448, Camp Atterbury, Indiana.
• Facility Details: One-story structure with a loading dock available for ground-level delivery.
• Floor Type: Standard concrete; the Contractor shall provide all necessary floor anchors. Floor slope is insignificant and should not require adjustable floor shoes
• Site Preparation: No known overhead obstructions (pipes, sprinklers, HVAC) exist at the 10.5-foot installation height. Some equipment will need to be re-positioned during installation.
II. Technical Specifications
The Contractor shall provide caging materials that meet the following government grade standards (in accordance with the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications):
• Mesh Gauge: 10-gauge wire with a 2" x 1" diamond or square pattern.
• Height: All cage walls and partitions shall be 10.5 feet in height from floor level.
• Ceilings: All cages require full wire mesh tops/ceilings.
• Hardware: All doors must be equipped with standard keyed cylinder locks.
III. Installation Requirements
The installation consists of three (3) interconnected cages extending from the East Wall vertical support I-Beam. This support beam has no visible slope and is mounted on a concreate pillar with a height of 9 inches and a depth of 3 inches.
1. NAVY CAGE (CLIN 0001)
• Dimensions: Extends West approximately 18 ft 7 in. from the East Wall (Steel) I-Beam support to the center and then turns 90 degrees South for approximately 23 ft.
• Function: The West wall of this unit acts as the divider for the U.S. Navy and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) cages.
• Anchoring: West Wall shall anchor flush and center on the inward sloping vertical support beam. The South Wall vertical support beam separating the Navy and DIA cages is mounted on a concrete pillar with a height of approximately 9 inches above the floor and a depth of 3 inches to the base of the beam. The South Wall vertical support beam has an approximate 4.5:1 rise. The southeast corner of ceiling for the NAVY cage will require mounting to the vertical support I-Beam in the southeast corner of the warehouse. This support beam has no visible slope and is mounted on a concreate pillar with a height of 9 inches and a depth of 3 inches.
• Gate: One (1) 4'x8' sliding door, centered on the North Wall.
2. DIA CAGE (CLIN 0002)
• Dimensions: Installed flush and centered at the North Wall corner of the Navy cage and extends West approximately 19 ft 10.5 in. to center and then turns 90 degrees South for approximately 23 ft to form the DIA and AECW dividing wall.
• Function: The West wall of this unit acts as the divider for the DIA and AECW cages.
• Anchoring: West Wall of the DIA cage shall anchor flush and center on the inward sloping vertical support beam. The South Wall vertical support beam separating the DIA and the AECW Excess cage is mounted on a concrete pillar with a height of approximately 9 inches above the floor and a depth of 3 inches to the base of the beam. The South Wall vertical support beam has an approximate 4.5:1 rise.
• Gate: One (1) 4'x8' sliding door, centered on the North Wall.
• Ceiling: Estimate should include C-Channel Stiffeners due to span
3. AECW EXCESS CAGE (CLIN 0003)
• Dimensions: Installed flush and centered at the North Wall corner of the DIA CAGE.
Extends West approximately 28’ 9-3/8” and then turns 90 degrees South for approximately 23 ft.
• Function: The West wall of this unit acts as the divider for the AECW Cage and the AECW Disposition area.
• Anchoring: West Wall of the AECW Excess cage shall anchor flush and center on the inward sloping vertical support beam. The South Wall vertical support beam separating the AECW Excess cage from the Disposition area is mounted on a concrete pillar with a height of approximately 9 inches above the floor and a depth of 3 inches to the base of the beam. The South Wall vertical support beam has an approximate 4.5:1 rise.
• Gate: One (1) 4'x8' sliding door, centered on the North Wall.
• Ceiling: Estimate should include C-Channel Stiffeners due to span
4. Debris Removal
• The contractor shall remove and dispose of all packaging materials (pallets, strapping, cardboard) related to installation.
IV. Security & Access
• Clearance: There are no security clearance requirements necessitating background checks or base pass sponsorship for entry.
• Delivery: All products are to be delivered, assembled, and installed on-site. The Contractor is responsible for coordinating all equipment needed for offloading at the customer loading dock.
• Government Furnished Equipment: The Contractor shall provide all tools and equipment required to complete this requirement, however, AECW has a forklift on site that may be utilized to assist if needed.
V. Period of Performance
• The contractor shall deliver and install within 3 months of contract award. Delivery and install shall be in accordance with proposed project milestone report submitted during solicitation.
VI. General Requirements
• Work Hours: Standard installation hours are 0800–1630, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Any deviations must be approved by the AECW Point of Contact (POC).
VII. Post-Award Requirements
• Warranty (CLIN 0004): A minimum 1-year manufacturer warranty and a 1-year workmanship warranty must be included.
• Submittals (CLIN 0005): Upon award, the contractor shall provide CAD drawings or shop drawings for approval before manufacturing the panels to ensure the "interconnected" dimensions are understood by both parties.
