Statement of Work (SOW) for

BUILDING 148 DUCTLESS AIR CONDITIONING

373rd Training Squadron/Detachment 14 has a requirement for Ductless Air Conditioning in building 148 at Travis AFB. The purpose is to cool and control the climate for multi-million aircraft simulator equipment. The aircraft maintenance training devices/simulators will stop operating after an hour when outside temperature is 90 degrees or above.

Description: The contractor shall accomplish the following;

- Choose the correct mini-splits for the size of the rooms (Room 5: 858 Sq feet and

Room 6: 520 Sq feet)

- Install the indoor wall mounted units (Mini-split air handlers) for 2 each rooms

(room 5 and room 6).

- Install the outdoor unit (condenser) outside of building 148.

- Attach the wires and tubing to the exterior wall to keep them securely in place.

Use covers for a neater appearance.

- Connect the correct pipe joint to the line set on the back of your outdoor unit.

- Connect the multi-conductor wiring that runs from the indoor unit to the outdoor unit.

- Follow-up with HVAC/Electrical specialists/contractors to validate work.

Point of Contact: The contractor shall coordinate with Facility Manager, MSgt Christopher M. Sudock to replenish inventory.

The contractor will comply with AFMAN or AFI or any other regulations in collaboration with Facility Manager safety inspections/walk-around.

Special Requirements: There are no special requirements.

Qualifications/Certifications: All certifications/qualifications will be validated through contractor license numbers.
