About this file

This is a Bid Scope Materials List for a residential rehabilitation project located at 23 Randolph Drive in Escambia County, Florida. The project encompasses kitchen, bathroom, and general home renovation work requiring specific brand and model specifications across multiple categories including appliances, fixtures, flooring, roofing, and HVAC components. Key items specified include a GE range and cooktop, Whirlpool refrigerator, Delta kitchen and bathroom faucets, American Standard toilets and tub, Shaw flooring products, CertainTeed roofing, and various lighting fixtures from commercial manufacturers. The scope includes detailed workmanship standards requiring braided supply lines for plumbing, proper finishing techniques for trim and drywall, square-edged laminate countertops with four-inch backsplash, and cabinetry constructed of plywood or better with solid hardwood fronts and no particle board. All electrical appliances must be EnergyStar approved with LED bulbs, and contractors are required to protect all surfaces and property from damage during work.

Eligible bidders must be general contractors licensed, insured, and in good standing with Escambia County, with new contractors required to submit a letter of insurability. The County reserves the right to award line items individually for emergency services limited to roofing and septic or sewer work. All bids must be submitted through OPENGOV only. The scope includes a provision allowing contractors to use like, similar, or equal valued products as alternatives to the specified items. The project contact is Scott Sanchez, NED, reachable at 850-595-0827 or jssanchez@myescambia.com. No specific pricing terms, contract award dates, or project timelines are detailed in this materials list document.
