About this file

The document is a Bid Scope Materials List for a State Housing Improvement Program (SHIP) home rehabilitation project in Escambia County, Florida, specifically targeting 314 E Garfield Drive. The comprehensive materials list details specific appliances, fixtures, and construction materials for a residential renovation, including kitchen and bathroom components from manufacturers such as Delta, GE, Whirlpool, American Standard, Shaw, and CertainTeed. The scope encompasses complete interior and exterior upgrades, including kitchen and bathroom fixtures, flooring, lighting, roofing, gutters, windows, and electrical components, with specific requirements for installation and material quality.

The project appears to be a county-funded residential rehabilitation initiative targeting home improvements for local residents. Contractors must be licensed, insured, and in good standing with Escambia County, with a mandate to use Energy Star approved appliances and LED lighting. The specifications emphasize quality construction standards, such as plywood cabinetry with solid hardwood fronts, square-edged laminate countertops, and detailed guidelines for repair and replacement of various home systems. Contractors are required to protect homeowner property during renovations and are allowed to use "like, similar, or equal valued products" when sourcing materials for the project.
