About this file
This Bid Notice pertains to a Job Order Contract (JOC) issued by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission for General Engineering (A-License) Construction services in San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne Counties within the Hetch Hetchy service area. The JOC is an indefinite quantity contract structure through which the SFPUC will accomplish a series of projects using a single competitively bid contract awarded prior to project identification. Work will be performed over a two-year contract term and accomplished through the issuance of Task Orders to the successful contractor as projects are defined. This procurement seeks qualified contractors holding an A-License to submit bids based on an adjustment factor applied to pre-set unit prices established for the contract.
The pricing structure requires bidders to propose an adjustment factor (markup or discount) to the pre-set unit price schedule rather than bidding individual project prices. The contract represents an indefinite quantity arrangement with no guaranteed minimum or maximum dollar amount per task order. Award and contract commencement details, specific project scopes, site visit requirements, and any bidders' conference information would be detailed in the complete solicitation documents accompanying this notice.
