About this file
This document is a Sources Sought Notice from the United States Air Force Sustainment Center. It is seeking market research to identify potential sources for the repair of titanium aircraft structural components that have experienced wear and service damage. The Air Force is considering a two-phased approach, with Phase One involving the development of repair techniques and tooling, followed by Phase Two which would be the actual repair and new-build efforts. The Air Force is interested in receiving responses from small businesses, including 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned concerns. Qualified respondents must meet certain requirements such as having a corporate cost accounting system, AS9110 or equivalent quality certification, NADCAP welding certification, and access to material testing laboratories. Interested parties are requested to submit a capabilities package demonstrating their relevant experience and qualifications. This Sources Sought Notice will expire on October 15, 2024, and does not represent a solicitation or commitment by the government to award a contract.
