About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity to provide hay transportation services for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
The National Park Service requires a contractor to transport approximately 480 bales of alfalfa hay from the Cedar Grove location in Kings Canyon National Park to the Ash Mountain Corral location in Sequoia National Park. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, labor, and vehicles to complete the transportation within the specified period of performance from August 20 to September 5. Vendors must have vehicles capable of navigating the paved, single-lane roads and unpaved fire roads at the pickup and delivery locations, and provide a hay block squeeze to neatly stack the hay. This is a 100% small business set-aside solicitation, with the contract to be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis to the responsible offeror whose quote is most advantageous to the government, considering price, technical capability, and past performance.
