Text version

The US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Contracting Office – Atlantic, Gordon Health Contracting Branch intends to award a sole source contract for the procurement of Maintenance services for the Safe Place Infant Security System to RF Technologies, 3125 North 126th Street, Brookfield, WI 53005.

This proposed procurement is intended to be awarded under the authority of FAR 13.106

(b) 1(i) Only one source reasonably available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561621 Security Systems Services and the size standard is $22,000,000.00.

Sole source determination is based on the need for Safe Place Infant Security System maintenance for Winn Army Community Hospital (WACH), Fort Stewart, GA 31314.

Equipment installed at Winn is unique to RF Technologies and would have to be replaced in its entirety if a new vendor were to be selected. Solicitation at this point would not be cost effective. Access Controls are placed within the main hospital and several outlying areas and clinics that are uniquely tied into and controlled by the Security Branch but must be serviced and given continuous maintenance by RF Technologies’ subject matter experts.

No solicitation package will be issued. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes;

however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Inquires will only be accepted via email to raymond.e.hulse.civ@mail.mil. The government will consider responses received by 1:00 p.m., EST, 27 August 2021. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. No telephone requests will be honored.
