STATEMENT OF WORK
E-Bank Steel Building Structure Alchesay National Fish Hatchery 36802 North Alchesay NFH Road
Whiteriver AZ, 85941 June, 2024
FACILITY SUMMARY:
Alchesay National Fish Hatchery was authorized in 1959 with a Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
Alchesay National Fish hatchery was designed to fulfill a federal responsibility for stocking waters on Tribal lands throughout eastern Arizona and western New Mexico. Alchesay National Fish Hatchery serves as a "grow-out rearing unit" for brown trout and rainbow trout fingerlings transferred from Williams Creek national Fish Hatchery. The annual production of these trout species represents the largest Indian Trust, inland recreational fishing program in the National Fish Hatchery System.
FACILITY NEED:
The facility has an existing exterior aquatic raceway, referred to as “E-Bank”, that measures approximately 54’ W x 110’ L, that is in need of a prefabricated pitched roof steel structure that is open on all four sides. Will function as canopy for the existing raceways. See Exhibit A:

MINIMUM PROJECT REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Structure Design: The structures design drawings, shall be designed and stamped by a licensed structural engineer. Drawings shall include at a minimum, the concrete footing/stem wall or concrete piers design, and all steel structural components such as columns, roof trusses, beams and purlins.
2. Steel Frame: Minimum 14-gauge galvanized steel.
3. Roof panels: Minimum 29-gauge steel. Panel width minimum 3 feet.
4. Snow Load: The structure design must meet a minimum 50 PSF snow load.
5. Wind Load: The structure design must meet a minimum 90 MPH wind load.
6. Roof Slope: Minimum 3:12.
7. Roof Color: A standard color TBD by Hatchery staff at pre-construction meeting.
8. Structure Installation: To be included and performed by metal building manufacture.
9. Warranty: Minimum 25 year.
Prior to submitting a proposal, government strongly suggests contractors conduct a site visit to assess existing conditions and take field measurements. Upon completion of project, and before staff final inspection, contractor to clean entire site of all project waste and debris.
