About this file
This document contains the attendee list and questions and answers from a project site visit for the Yankee Meadows Campground Reconstruction - Phase 2 solicitation. The related federal contract opportunity is for reconstruction work at the Yankee Meadows Campground on the Dixie National Forest. Contractors attending the site visit will be permitted to stay in an RV on site during the work week and utilize vault toilets, but no power or sewer hookups will be provided. Excavated materials can be disposed of in the designated borrow location. Water will be available but must meet state drinking water requirements. A UTV can be used for work and standard work hours must be approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative. The project will require road base material and any unearthed non-organic rocks will be handled according to the excavation specification. The closest emergency room is in Cedar City, Utah and emergency evacuation plans should consider access routes to the remote site. Committed funds are available for the project completion.
