About this file

This document contains a price proposal template for a strategic material buffer contract opportunity with the Defense Logistics Agency. The template includes pricing tables for an initial setup fee and inventory holding and buffer management services over multiple contract periods and option periods. Pricing is to be provided for the base period and up to four option periods, with an additional option to extend services at the same rates listed for the final period. Discounts and total prices are to be included. The related federal contract opportunity notice seeks offers from steel producers certified to produce Grade 300M steel to develop, implement, and manage an inventory buffer of various forms and sizes of this material to guarantee lead times and availability for DOD repair part manufacturers, allowing for wartime mobilization and combat operations. Uninterrupted access to the 300M inventory stock is desired.
