About this file
This is a Service Provider Security Assessment Questionnaire for a Banking Services contract opportunity with the State of South Carolina. The questionnaire is a required compliance document that bidders must complete and submit with their proposals to demonstrate adequate security controls and information protection measures. Respondents must provide detailed written answers addressing twelve specific security assessment topics, with authorization signatures from an authorized company representative required on the completed form.
The questionnaire requires bidders to document their access control policies, disaster recovery and business continuity plans, employee and contractor vetting procedures, security policies for sub-contractors, third-party security certifications (such as ISO/IEC 27001 or AICPA SOC 2 Type 2), physical security measures for data centers, encryption protocols for data at rest and in transit, breach detection controls and audit log retention procedures, incident response policies, and data destruction procedures upon contract termination. Bidders must also identify all third parties that will have access to government information and provide scope details for any existing compliance certifications, confirming their maintenance throughout the contract period and commitment to providing updated audit reports to the state.
