About this file

This is a draft award notification letter from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Procurement Services regarding selection into a prequalified vendor pool for R&D sourcing of scientific and research services under RFP#214584033AZ. The award is non-exclusive and does not obligate the University to any mandatory spending. Upon identification of specific project needs, VCU will issue Statements of Needs to vendors in the pool accompanied by detailed Scopes of Work, at which time vendors may submit project-specific proposals with pricing, deliverables, and timelines. Selected vendors will be engaged through purchase orders or short-form agreements incorporating project-specific terms. The award is effective for two years from the date of the letter with eligibility for renewal for up to four additional two-year periods.

No specific pricing terms, quantities, or funding amounts are established in this pool award. Vendors must maintain active registrations in eVA (Virginia's procurement system) and VCU's RealSource Procure to Pay Platform. The award letter, vendor's RFP response form, any subsequent purchase order, and executed contracts will collectively constitute the full understanding between parties regarding future project engagements. Questions regarding the award should be directed to Abigail Zaremba, Category Manager, at apzaremba@vcu.edu.
