About this file
This document is a Bill of Materials (BOM) for RFP-PR401613, detailing a sophisticated scientific equipment procurement from Qnami AG. The BOM includes three primary line items: 1) ProteusQ Scanning NV Magnetometer, a complex scanning probe microscope with advanced features like confocal optical coupling, integrated microwave near-field antenna, and side camera for alignment; 2) Qnami Expert Mode, an advanced hardware control option that enables full control of MicrowaveQ and ProteusQ hardware with precise pulse sequencing capabilities (< 6.6ns accuracy); and 3) The Vario PQ, a device allowing external current and voltage applications during scanning NV measurements, with 8 separate electric lines supporting voltages up to 100V_rms and currents up to 22.5 mA. The system includes comprehensive software packages for SPM (Scanning Probe Microscopy) operations, quantum control, and data analysis, along with a high-performance computer pre-configured with Windows 10-64.

2 Qnami Expert Mode: The Qnami Expert Mode option unlocks full control of the MicrowaveQ and ProteusQ hardware to extend standard DC NV magnetometry by pulsed sequences, automations of routines, and synchronization to external devices. Customized measurement sequences can be created via a low code scripting interface or by full access through an additional Application Programming Interface (API). The expert mode also includes a selection of predefined pulse sequences (Rabi-, Ramsey-, and Hahn-Echo pulse sequences) and device control helper functions that can be loaded via Jupyter Notebook integration.
The Expert Mode includes:
- Internal sequence processing unit in the hardware
- pulse accuracy: < 6.6ns
- microwave frequency phase accuracy: 0.01°
- Number of sequence entries: 1 million (1’000’000 individual sequence entries), covering the most advanced and complicated pulse protocol.
- Number of additional multipurpose digital channels: 5 (to operate and synchronize user specific instrumentation)
