About this file
This document is an attachment (Attachment B) describing a Chlorine Monitoring System for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. The specific brand name referenced is HACH - CM130, with key requirements including continuous online monitoring of free or total chlorine, reagent-free operation using amperometric sensor technology, and integration capabilities with SCADA or PLC systems. The system is intended for pre-treatment components of a Dialysis Water Purification System, with measurement ranges of 0-2 mg/L to 0-20 mg/L and rapid response times.
The associated federal contract opportunity is a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) under Solicitation Number 36C26225Q1074, seeking potential qualified sources under NAICS code 334516. Interested vendors must submit responses by Monday, July 7th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. PDT via email to Clift.Domen@va.gov. The RFI requires vendors to provide business size status, manufacturer/distributor details, federal contract information, general pricing, UEI number, and capabilities demonstrating they can meet the system's technical requirements. This RFI is for market research and planning purposes and does not constitute a formal solicitation.
