About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration for a spectrophotometer (fluorescence and absorbance spectrometer) for the VA San Diego Healthcare System.
The RFQ includes the salient characteristics for the required equipment, which must have both absorbance and fluorescence capabilities, detect wavelengths from 250-1,100 nm, allow for wavelength filtering, and transmit results to a computer with 3D visualization software. The contractor must also provide a laptop and technical support/training. The RFQ is a one-time purchase with a 30-day delivery timeframe after receipt of order. Offers must be received by September 6, 2024 and demonstrate that any proposed "equal" products meet all the salient characteristics. The award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest priced quotation that meets all requirements.
