Labor Category Information Attachment A

GEOSPATIAL DATA ADMINISTRATOR

Minimum Qualifications/Duties:

● At least 7 years of database administration, geospatial preferred.

● Administration of geospatial data and its organization.

● Assigns personnel to various projects and directs their activities; reviews and evaluates their work.

● Advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods.

● Advises users of the various geospatial databases.

● Projects long-range requirements for geospatial database administration and design in conjunction with other relevant managers

● Generate activity and progress reports regarding the geospatial data group and all activities associated.

Education:

● Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as, system information management, or geospatial information management

GIS ANALYST IV

● A minimum of 6 years of relevant geospatial experience, with 5 years of experience leading a team, group, or department.

● Specialized Experience: 7 years of experience using ArcGIS and or related tools for data analysis, cartography, and modeling; and using ERDAS Imagine or comparable application for raster analysis and processing.

● Relevant experience with Python, AML, VBA, or other scripting/geospatial application development tools;

● Experience using file and enterprise geodatabase systems

● Lead the team in formulating/defining the scope, requirements and objectives for analysis of GIS data, development of cartographic products, and automation of Geospatial tasks using industry standard tools such as ESRI ArcGlS, ERDAS, etc…

● Must be proficient with ArcGIS applications and geospatial theory such as coordinate systems, projections, and modeling.

● Must also be proficient with Leica Geosystems (ERDAS) Imagine or other raster based software application and raster data processing.

Education:

● Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in geography, remote sensing, geospatial technology, or natural science

GIS ANALYST III

Minimum Qualifications/Duties:

● A minimum of 5 years of relevant geospatial experience, with 2 years of experience leading at least one other geospatial technician.

● Specialized Experience: 5 years of experience using ArcGIS and or related tools for data analysis, cartography, and modeling; and using ERDAS Imagine or comparable application for raster analysis and processing.

● Relevant experience with Python, AML, VBA, or other scripting/geospatial application development tools;

● Experience using file and enterprise geodatabase systems

● Work with lead to understand the scope, requirements and objectives for analysis of geospatial data, development of cartographic products, and automation of geospatial tasks using geospatial tools such as ESRI ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine or similar

● Coordinate and leads workload for at least one other analyst on an as needed basis

● Utilize ArcGIS applications and geospatial theory such as coordinate systems, projections, and modeling.

● Utilize Leica Geosystems (ERDAS) Imagine application and raster data processing preferred

● Utilize with Python, AML, VBA, or other scripting/GIS application development tools.

● Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in geography, remote sensing, geospatial technology, or natural science

GIS ANALYST II

Minimum Qualifications/Duties:

● A minimum of 4 years of relevant geospatial experience

● Specialized Experience: 3 years of experience using ArcGIS and or related tools for data analysis, cartography, and modeling; and using ERDAS Imagine or comparable application for raster analysis and processing.

● Relevant experience with Python, AML, VBA, or other scripting/geospatial application development tools;

● Experience using file and enterprise geodatabase systems

● Work with lead to understand the scope, requirements and objectives for analysis of geospatial data, development of cartographic products, and automation of geospatial tasks using geospatial tools such as ESRI ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine or similar

● Utilize ArcGIS applications and geospatial theory such as coordinate systems, projections, and modeling.

● Proficiency with Leica Geosystems (ERDAS) Imagine application and raster data processing preferred

● Must have experience with Python, AML, VBA, or other scripting/GIS application development tools.

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in geography, remote sensing, geospatial technology, or natural science (or A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant documented and verifiable geospatial experience).

GEOSPATIAL ARCHITECTURE SPECIALIST

● At least 7 years of experience in developing and integrating applications, geospatial preferred.

● Design and implement geospatial data, workflow, and interface architecture.

● Administration of policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods.

● Assigns personnel to various projects and directs their activities; reviews and evaluates their work.

● Advises users of the various geospatial architecture processes and endeavors.

● Advises users of the various geospatial databases.

● Projects long-range requirements for geospatial database administration and design in conjunction with other relevant managers

● Generate activity and progress reports regarding the geospatial data group and all activities associated.

● Execute and implement selected geospatial architecture

Education:

● Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as, geospatial development, engineering, or geospatial information management
