SOLICITATION NUMBER: FA524023QA010
SOLICITATION TYPE: REQUEST FOR QUOTES (RFQ)
SUBJECT: Amendment 0001 to Combined Synopsis/Solicitation FA524023Q010
1. Description: The answers (written in red) in response to the submitted RFIs are provided below:
a. Question 1: What type of Material is this structure made of?”
b. Answer 1: Steel
c. Questions 2: Will this be interior and exterior repainting and removal or paint?
d. Answer 2: This application will be for the exterior of the ESAP only. Outside of ESAP must be blasted prior to coating application IAW test plan. For the support equipment, items must be blasted to bare substrate then Acryla Tec coating applied.
e. Question 3: Is the paint currently available for the start of this opportunity or will it have to be precured?
f. Answer 3: Paint has been delivered to Andersen’s HAZMART for temporary storage.
g. Question 4: Where on base is this structure located and do you have pictures?
h. Answer 4: 554th RED HORSE, North West Field Andersen AFB Guam
i. Question 5: We are unable to locate the period of performance for both CLIN 0001 & 0002 please advise, other than delivery data ARO 60 days which assumes all material and equipment is available. Correct?
j. Answer 5: Coating is being temporarily stored at Andersen’s HAZMAT. Selected vendor must procure the required equipment to spray the Acryla Tec.
k. Question 6: Confirm CLIN 0002 is for a facility and NOT AGE?
l. Answer 6: Yes, for facility only. CLIN 0001 is for AGE.
m. Question 7: How many days are allocated per item?
n. Answer 7: Vendor must provide timeline for coating application. There will representatives coming TDY from HQ PACAF and the 28th TES observing the process and end result.
2. Attachment 3 - Acryla Tec Coating Test Plan which has been added to provide appropriate technical clarification in support of the RFIs above
3. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
