John Deere 9500 Combine Repair and Maintenance

GENERAL INFORMATION

Background:

The John 9500 combine was purchased used in 7/25/2019 and has had minimal repair and maintenance since purchased. This is not unusual for this age combine and the hours. Numerous repair items were documented that will affect the functioning of the combine, operator, and public safety.

Below is a list of repairs found during the inspection.

1 Windshield wipers not working 2 Unloading auger light not working 3 Light switch broken 4 Head Liner fell off 5 Right side feeder house (front) shaft bearing out 6 Feeder house chain hard to spin (may be due to 5) 7 Inside feeder house reverser/gearbox seal out 8 Variable drive piston leak on cylinder speed pully 9 Shoe auger pillow blocks bearings wore

1.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:

• Repairs completed by certified John Deere shop.

• Repairs completed by certified John Deere technician.

2.0 Deliverables / Schedule: Harvest of crops take place between September 13 and October 1, 2023.

3.0 Contractor’s Key Personnel: Repair to be made by qualified, JD certified
