Building 282 Checklist ITEM 1: Paint Hangar maintenance program will include the following:

• Check motor belts for wear and tension

• Inspect door seals and gaskets

• Check and tighten all electrical connections

• Service and clean airflow switches

• Inspect fire suppression for damage/serviceability

• Inspect main exhaust blower/fans

• Inspect filter plenums

• Inspect doors and electrical interlock system

• Inspect and clean exhaust fan blades

• Inspect all air connections and hoses in hangar for serviceability

• Inspect all breathing air connections for serviceability

• Additional tasks as specified in manufacture’s documentation for preventive maintenance

• All maintenance shall be performed in accordance with manufactures’ recommendations

ITEM 2: Paint Hangar Air Make Up (AMU) units or Make-Up Air Units (MAU) – AMUs are on roof of Building 282.

• Check and ensure all parts are in correct working order.

• Check and repair or replace all electrical components, wiring and parts not limited to but to include fuses as required.

• Inspect, adjust and replace as required all belts.

• Clean burner on heating units and adjust for proper heating capabilities.

• Clean, repair or replace fan blades and all ductwork as required.

• Repair or replace all loose or bad bearings.

• Make adjustments and alignments to all pulleys and sheaves.

• Clean and repair evaporative cooling system as required.

• Lubricate motors as required.

• Repair leaks and replace parts to ensure proper operation as required.

• Inspect AMU filters (change when necessary, at least annually)

• Additional tasks as specified in manufacture’s documentation for preventive maintenance

• All maintenance shall be performed in accordance with manufactures’ recommendations.

• During the course of the quarterly preventative maintenance, the vendor shall replace parts as require in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. All parts replacement requires authorization by section supervision. The vendor will utilize the “set aside amount” and adhere to the procedures and restrictions in paragraph 2.8. for any parts that are required. Any unscheduled repairs will be subject to service calls in paragraph 2.7.

ITEM 3: Paint Booth (1 each) in Building 282

Paint booth maintenance program will include the following:

• Clean and inspect all light fixtures and glass lens

• Inspect for burned out light tubes and ballasts

• Check motor belts for wear and tension

• Inspect door seals and gaskets

• Check and tighten all electrical connections

• Service and clean airflow switches

• Lubricate blower shaft bearings

• Inspect fire suppression for damage/serviceability

• Inspect exhaust stack, dampers and stack heads

• Inspect upper plenum

• Inspect doors and electrical interlock system

• Inspect and lubricate all doors on booths

• All maintenance shall be performed in accordance with manufactures’ recommendations.

ITEM 4: Paint Booth Air Make Up (AMU) units or Make-Up Air Units (MAU) in building 282.

• Check and ensure all parts are in correct working order.

ITEM 5: Corrosion Hangar Blaster Dust Collector in Building 282

• Monitor overall performance of the collector

• Monitor exhaust for leaks

• Ensure proper solenoid and diaphragm valve operation

• Inspect door seals for condition and contact (Replace as required)

• Inspect and ensure air plenum is free of dust, check surrounding area for leakage.

• Inspect all air components for leaks

• Check dust collector filters for leaks and life of service

• Replace compressed air filters (at least annually)

ITEM 6: Walk-in Blasters building 282

• Check overall condition of blast equipment

• Inspect air inlet filters, clean or replace as needed

• Inspect Dust Collector cartridges

• Inspect HEPA filters (If installed)

• Clean and check pressure vessel air inlet valve

• Clean and check air exhaust valve or pinch valve

• Clean and adjust choke valve

• Clean inlet valve (pop-up)

• Clean and adjust foot control

• Inspect dust collector pulse valves (automatic solenoid operation)

• Check and adjust all door interlocks

• Clean and inspect all air regulators and pressure gauges

• Check media aerators filter and change as needed

• Clean moisture separator

• Check blast nozzles for wear

• Clean magnetic separator

• Inspect and adjust all door handles, strikes, and latches

• Check and adjust magnehelic gauges

• Inspect all hoses and connections

• Clean and adjust cyclone and air wash

• Lubricate all motors and bearings

• Check for vacuum leaks

• Check airflow of booth and adjust accordingly

• Inspect breathing air filter

• Clean all vibrator screens

• Inspect all ducting and vacuum hose

• Inspect breathing air system if installed

• Replace personnel door seal on walk-in blaster when required

• Inspect blaster booth room inlet filters

• Replace or wash (if filters are washable metal filters) blaster booth room inlet filters as required

ITEM 7: Cabinet Blasters (2 each) in building 282. Abrasive blast equipment maintenance program will include the following:

• Check overall condition of blast equipment

• Inspect air inlet filters, clean or replace as needed

• Inspect Dust Collector cartridges

• Inspect HEPA filters

• Clean and check pressure vessel air inlet valve

• Clean and check air exhaust valve or pinch valve

• Clean and adjust choke valve

• Clean inlet valve (pop-up)

• Clean and adjust foot control

• Inspect dust collector pulse valves (manual operator control)

• Check and adjust all door interlocks

• Clean and inspect all air regulators and pressure gauges

• Check media aerators filter and change as needed

• Clean moisture separator

• Check blast nozzles for wear

• Clean magnetic separator

• Inspect and adjust all door handles, strikes, and latches

• Inspect gloves and gauntlets

• Inspect all hoses and connections

• Clean and adjust cyclone and air wash

• Check for vacuum leaks

• Check dust collector filters for leaks and life of service

• Inspect breathing air filter

• Clean all vibrator screens

• Inspect all ducting and vacuum hose

• Inspect breathing air system if installed

• Inspect cabinet blaster door seals, replace if required.

• Replace personnel door seal on walk-in blaster when required

ITEM 8: Breathing Air System in Building 282. The breathing air system maintenance program for

Building 282 will include the following:

• Inspect all fittings and soldered joints

• Inspect purifier connections

• Inspect all automatic drains for operation

• Inspect all fittings and soldered joints connecting air purifier to compressors

• Perform preventative maintenance on breathing air compressors

• Replace filters when required

• Service and replace filters on breathing air compressors when required

• Calibrate all CO monitors

• Test all emergency horns and lights

• Check desiccant levels as required

• Perform quarterly air sampling of breathing air system

• Certify “Class D” breathing air and provide certification letter to shop supervision that will be passed on to the base Bioenvironmental Engineering Office.

ITEM 9: Breathing Air Driers/Carbon Monoxide Detectors, Building 282.

• Inspect all fittings and soldered joints

• Check and ensure all mechanical parts are in proper working order

• Inspect all automatic drains for operation

• Check and repair all electrical components as required

• Check and refill all refrigerant level as required.

• Inspect, adjust and replace belts as required.

• Perform preventative maintenance on compressors

• Make all required service adjustments to the pilot valves, pressure switches and regulating valves.

• Service and replace filters on compressors when required

• Clean after cooler and lubricate cooler fins.

• Repair leaks and replace parts to ensure proper operation as required.

• Lubricate motors and bearings as necessary.

ITEM 10: Aqua Miser (pressure washer)

• Inspect fluid levels and refill/replace as required.

• Repair leaks and replace parts to ensure proper operation as required.

• Check and ensure all mechanical parts are in proper working order.

• Inspect hoses and fittings for leaks and deterioration.

ITEM 11: Condor EcoFlex, Model 56509008

• Inspect and clean tanks and hoses

• Inspect, clean, rotate the brushes and pads

• Inspect and clean squeegee

• Inspect and clean vacuum shut off float

• Inspect and clean vacuum motor foam float

• Inspect and clean hopper on cylindrical system

• Inspect scrub housing skirts required

• Inspect each battery cell’s water level

• Inspect and clean solution filter

• Inspect foot/parking brake for wear and adjustment

• Clean solution trough on cylindrical system

• Purge detergent system

• Perform side broom maintenance and adjustment

• Grease squeegee caster wheel axel and pivot

• Grease steering wheel shaft universal joint

• Grease steering chain

• Grease squeegee mount angle adjustment knob threads

• Lightly lubricate squeegee tool end wheels

• Lightly lubricate recovery tank release latch

• Lightly lubricate brake pedal (parking brake) linkage

• Inspect vacuum motor carbon brushes annually
