About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a sole-source contract to provide maintenance support and preventative maintenance for four (4) Indelt Videotape Robots used by the Library of Congress at their National Audio-Visual Conservation Center in Culpeper, Virginia.

The SOW requires the contractor to perform two (2) scheduled semi-annual on-site preventative maintenance visits per year, including lubrication, troubleshooting, and replacement of consumable gripper finger pads. The contractor must provide a 90-day warranty on any parts and labor. The contractor must use only Indelt-trained and certified technicians or engineers. The contractor is responsible for all shipping and travel costs.

The related Federal Contract Opportunity announces the Library of Congress' intent to award a sole-source firm fixed-price contract to Backporch Broadcast, the authorized service provider for the Indelt equipment. The contract will be for 12 months with up to four (4) additional 12-month option years, with an estimated value below the simplified acquisition threshold but above the public notice threshold.
