Statement of Work

Bullpen Student Area Remodel

5522 Research Park Drive, Catonsville MD 21228

I. OBJECTIVE

Remodel approximately 724 square feet of office space, including demolition of existing half walls, install electrical and data drops, replace carpet in construction area.

II. BACKGROUND

The U.S. Geological Survey conducts monitoring and research studies to support USGS national programs for water resources. In order to accommodate a growing workforce, the U.S. Geological Survey MD-DE-DC WSC needs to remodel a portion of their current facility.

III. SCOPE

A. The selected contractor will remodel approximately 724 square feet of office space by:

a. demolishing 5 existing ½ walls (approximately 52 linear feet in total, see figure 2)

b. dropping electrical and data connections through existing ceiling and walls (and installing appropriate receptacles for data and power see figure 1 for approximate locations).

c. Replacing all carpet in the remodel area

B. Place of Performance: 5522 Research Park Drive, Catonsville, MD 21228 C. All work must be completed within 90 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed

(NTP).

Figure 2 Photo of area to be remodeled, with approximate dimensions notes of 1/2 walls to be removed. Partial full height walls that reach to the ceiling will be retained, it is our understanding (subject to contractor verification) that these walls carry electrical and data wiring.

IV. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS AND DELIVERABLES

A. Demolition will be performed by contractor.

B. Electrical and data drops will be installed by contractor.

C. Price is for labor, materials, recycling, rental, materials disposal, and any other miscellaneous materials D. Certificate of insurance to be issued to COPT and USGS upon signature of proposal

Site visit information is listed in Section L of the solicitation.

VI. EVALUATION FACTORS

Vendors will be evaluated by their Technical Specifications, Past Performance and price.
