About this file
This attachment provides technical specifications for a solicitation seeking an infrared interferometer for atmospheric sounding applications. Specifically, it requests a Fourier Transform Spectrometer (FTS) spectroradiometer complete system from brand LR Tech, Inc. or equal. The FTS controller must include three optimized scan speeds including 32KHz (1 scan/sec.), 100KHz (2.8 scans/sec.), and 375KHz (10 scans/sec.). It must also meet mirror speed stability requirements of 5% rms at 100KHz and 1% rms at 0.9987. The system must be capable of operating within an ambient to 60C temperature range and provide radiance uncertainty. The related solicitation was issued by the Department of Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration seeking a spectroradiometer with number 1305M320QNRMJ0045.
