STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
Sterile Processing Service (SPS) Workstation and Lighted Magnification Inspection Scopes
Purpose and Background of Project: The Cheyenne VA has a requirement for dedicated sterile processing workstation. The workstation will be utilized for all loaners and incoming instrumentation and will serve as a centralized hub for meticulous examination. The workstation will be equipped with a Lighted Magnification Inspection Scope (borescope), allowing for detailed and precise inspection of cannulated and non-cannulated instrumentation. This advanced equipment will enable us to identify and address any potential issues with greater accuracy and efficiency.
Scope: Contractor shall provide a sterile processing/check-in workstation with a borescope and three (3) additional borescopes for workstations located at the Cheyenne VA Healthcare System, 2360 E. Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne, WY 82001. The Workstation shall meet the salient characteristics included in this SOW and allow space for the specialized laser equipment used for marking instrumentation.
Salient Characteristics: The salient characteristics identified in the SOW are intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality of the supplies that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the contractor to demonstrate to the Government that the product quoted fulfills the required specifications.
Salient characteristics of PureSteel Brand Name or Equal products must meet:
Sterile Processing/Check-in Workstation:
· Dimensions:
· The workstation shall be 56-60” in length and between 35”-36” in width to support current laser placement (see laser information sheet provided).
· Include heavy-duty locking casters to enable easy mobility and ensure stability when stationary.
· Include a suspended shelf mounted underneath the workstation that has a minimum of 26” in depth to hold current printer.
· Construction:
· Shall be constructed of a single piece of 304-gauge corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a minimum tabletop thickness of 2.5” for corrosion resistance and durability.
· The workstation shall provide an aseptic surface free from bacteria and microorganisms, capable of withstanding harsh cleaning chemicals commonly used in Sterile Processing.
· Height Adjustability:
· The workstation should have a minimum fixed height of 36 inches.
· Offer an electrically adjustable workstation with a height range 36”to 48” to accommodate various ergonomic needs.
· Pegboard:
· Shall include table-mounted pegboard that provides a min. of 24” width with no pegboard to accommodate laser.
· Shall be between 30” to 34” in height to allow ample space for mounting accessories.
· Shall be height-adjustable with workstation.
· Shall have pre-drilled, evenly spaced, standard size peg board holes to accommodate different hooks, bins and holders for tools.
· Shall allow for cords to be organized on backside to keep cords organized.
· Electrical:
· Workstation shall have a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protected outlets with a resettable circuit breaker.
· Workstation shall have a minimum of 6 outlets.
· Upper Shelf:
· Workstation shall have a stainless-steel shelf that is detachable and mounts on pegboard approximately 24” x 12”.
· Keyboard and Monitor Arm System shall:
· Be height adjustable
· Be a wall mounted keyboard and monitor arm system.
· Provide a back tilt option for the keyboard and ergonomic support.
· Shall provide for cable management.
· Accommodate multiple mounting locations on the pegboard.
· Lighting:
· Shall include a light hood that attaches to the pegboard, providing illumination for the workstation on the side opposite the laser and be moveable.
· Shall provide a magnification task light that offers magnification ranging from 2.25x to 4.75x
· Shall have touch controls for brightness
· Shall have a spring-balanced arm and include a C-clamp and L-bracket for mounting.
· Factory Preassembly:
· The workstation shall arrive preassembled, complete with a pegboard, accessories, electrical wiring, HDMI control box and channeling.
· Workstation Lighted Magnification Inspection Scopes (borescope):
· Shall have an Inspection HDMI control Module that is compatible with inspection scopes.
· Shall provide light control and video output to a monitor.
· Shall be water-resistant.
· Shall be stand-alone capable.
· Shall be compatible with an HDMI control box.
· Shall have a maximum outer diameter of 1.06mm.
· Shall have a min. length of 100cm to accommodate use with flexible colonoscopes.
· Shall allow for inspection inside instrument lumens.
· Shall be mountable on pegboard and include a flexible arm, nano clamp and super clamp.
· Shall include a user manual for lighted magnification Inspection scopes.
· Other Items:
· Contractor to oversee installation, provide user in-service and education on all purchased items.
· Workstation and lighted magnification Inspection scopes shall have at minimum 1-year warranty.

Delivery Schedule:
· Contractor shall install the equipment at the CVAHCS not later than 60 days after receipt of order (ARO).
· The Contractor shall ensure all deliverables are delivered to the following address and reference the VA’s purchase order number: Cheyenne VA Healthcare System, Attn: Sterile Processing, 2360 E. Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne, WY 82001.
· Contractor shall coordinate delivery with the RMD Coordinator/POC at least 72 hours in advance of anticipated delivery date/time.
· The contractor shall ensure delivery is scheduled on a work-day (non-holiday) between Monday and Friday, 8am to 3pm, unless otherwise pre-arranged with the SPS Chief or RMD Coordinator.
· Contractor shall provide all manufacturer recommended maintenance schedules and operation materials upon delivery. Manuals must be made available in an electronic format.
Training:
· Contractor shall provide ‘on-site’ training of workstation operation, functionality, cleaning and safety requirements.
· Contractor shall coordinate on-site training with the RMD Coordinator/POC with training to occur within 7 days after delivery.
Inspection and Acceptance:
· The contractor shall provide a bill of sale with delivery to include any missing items.
· The CVAHCS SPS Chief or RMD Coordinator must conduct an inspection upon delivery of the equipment and shall provide logistics and the contractor with a list of missing or damaged items found upon inspection.
· The CVAHCS SPS shall ensure all equipment has been delivered satisfactorily and notify Logistics prior to acceptance.
· Disputes must be resolved by the VA Contracting Officer.
Contractor Performance Requirements:
· The contractor shall collaborate with the RMD Coordinator to manage and oversee all products and services. Responsibilities include managing design, ordering, shipping, delivery, installation, and coordinating on-site education from the contractor until final acceptance by the Chief of SPS or the RMD Coordinator.
· The contractor must not perform any services or provide any items that are outside the scope of the work without written approval from the Contracting Officer.
Payment:
