SCOPE OF WORK
Project Name: Repair HVAC, Elec & Upgrade Restrooms, B350
XDAT # 12-9001
09 June 2020
1. SCOPE
1.2 Repair Building 350.
1.3 Work to include:
i) Renovate existing restrooms and shower to be fully ADA/ABA compliant as noted including, but not limited to new water closets, lavatories, urinals, service sink, shower fixtures, lighting, and finishes.
ii) Complete renovation of the existing mechanical system including all equipment, ductwork, diffusers, piping, and controls as noted.
iii) Replacement of existing water heater.
iv) Upgrade electrical as noted.
v) Construction of a new exterior mechanical enclosure including relocating of existing flag pole, associated flat work and interior construction.
2. REQUIREMENTS
2.1 General Requirements
2.1.1 Contractor shall test for lead paint & asbestos.
2.1.2 Contractor to follow AFRC Interior Design Policy Manual for materials.
2.1.3 Contractor to follow Division 01 General Requirements Section 01000
2.2 Special Requirements
2.2.1 See Design Drawings (Attachment 1), Basis of Design (Attachment 2) and Structural
Design (Attachment 3).
2.2.2 Contractor shall follow mitigation measures/requirements as required in Section 01 56 00, Environmental General Requirements
2.2.3 Contractor shall subcontract any work on Johnson EMS Controllers to Johnson Controls.
2.2.4 Contractor shall phase construction, move or relocated office furnishings at the direction of the Government.
2.2.5 Contractor to provide alternate restroom facilities during restroom construction.
