About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for Montana State University's Graduate School, which is soliciting proposals for graduate-specific online e-learning platforms to support career exploration and professional development. The University seeks two separate platforms—one tailored for master's students and another for doctoral and post-doctoral students—to address career development needs not currently met by existing institutional programming. The requested platforms must be available online and on-demand 24/7 to serve both on-campus and distance learning graduate students across multiple disciplines, including Nursing DNPs, Master's in Science Education, Master's in Land Resources & Environmental Science, Master's in Family & Consumer Science, and Master's in Agricultural Education. Proposals are due October 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. MDT, with questions due by September 23, 2026. The University reserves the right to require presentations, demonstrations, or interviews with finalist offerors as part of the evaluation process.
The requested platforms must include both asynchronous content (self-paced courses and video libraries) and live web-based bootcamps and events synchronized with the academic job market, eliminating the need for the University to contract with a second vendor for webinar services. Offerors must provide marketing support to help engage graduate students and serve as campus career partners within the University's GradCat 360 professional development program. All costs must be fully disclosed in proposals, with undisclosed costs deemed non-applicable. Payment terms are Net 30 with no early payment discount. Finalists may be required to provide minimum three client references from the past three years and submit financial stability documentation, including three consecutive years of audited financial statements. Successful offerors must register in SmartBuyMSU and submit a W-9, standard software/service solution agreement, and designated contact information. Offerors must certify compliance with Montana's HB 356 regarding non-discrimination against firearm entities and disclose any artificial intelligence use in proposal development. Contract value and term are not specified in the source material.

Attachment 1-Scope of Work University is seeking graduate-specific online support for career exploration and development for graduate students. University is seeking two online platforms that provide support, one for master’s students and one for doctoral students/post-doctoral students.
University is looking for the following from a potential supplier:
· Graduate students need specific career professional development that is not offered at the University. The University hopes to find a supplier who can provide both career development guidance for master’s students as well as doctoral students and post-doctoral employees.
· The University is seeking two platforms that are available online and on-demand 24/7, which would make content accessible to all graduate students and would help meet the needs of our online and distance graduate students in ways that current programming cannot. This includes Nursing DNPs who are vital to our state as well as our e.g., master’s in science education, master’s in land resources & environmental science, master’s in family & consumer science, master’s in agricultural education and more.
· The potential supplier would also provide live web-based bootcamps and events for career development. The past two spring semesters the University has contracted with an external vendor to provide a webinar for career development for graduate students. University is seeking a vendor who would eliminate the need to contract with a second vendor as the potential supplier would provide the service as part of our contract.
· The potential vendor will also provide marketing support to help the University engage graduate students in the platforms, which will be extremely helpful for the University’s small student success team.
· The Graduate School has a professional development program called GradCat 360. The University partners with campus units to offer professional development opportunities specifically for graduate students within nine content areas. Career development and exploration is one of the content areas. The potential supplier would act as a campus career partner.
· University is seeking both asynchronous (self-paced courses and video library) and live events and bootcamps that are timed with the academic job market. The platform should provide both career exploration and job search strategies.
