Salient Characteristics of Preparedness Cube Trailer The Preparedness Cube Trailer aims to increase base readiness, prevention and mitigation through military/ civilian population outreach, and will be utilized in support of local surrounding communities and organized events to expand situational awareness and knowledge. In addition to an active effort to support installation “Be Ready” Awareness Campaigns (e.g., September is National Preparedness Month). In accordance with AFMAN 32-1007, para 6.7-6.7.5.2.

Preparedness Cube / Trailer requirements:

All in one display system that can be transported on its own trailer with tow hitch.

Well-built mobile system to be used for indoor and outdoor:

- Made of sturdy, strong and solid weatherproof materials (i.e. aluminum, etc.)

- Ideal configuration (footprint) and size would be 8’ x 15’ x 8’ rectangular in shape

- Displayed at ground level with multiple sides access with floor height (not to exceed 6” in height), when in display mode.

- Multi floor function to display EM related materials for visibility

- Engineered to be lockable, safe and secured

Critical for 1 person setup requirements:

- Easy assembly and dismantling by only 1 person “ideal”

- No special tools needed

- No third party labor involvement

- Build up/ assembly in less than 60 minutes

Trailer requirements:

- Needs to be safe, secure and towable by GSA vehicle

- Meet road safety requirements/ Dept. of Transportation

Additional requirements:

- Custom design graphics/ branding

- Ability to add on future multimedia technology

- Ability to refresh future branding message all around the “Preparedness Cube” display

- Mixture of interior counters (storage) and rack display system with three audio visual displays

- Table and chairs

- Adequate powered portable generator (Quiet/ minimal noise)
