Acquisition Information This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for this requirement.
The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
Quote Submission Information
SITE VISIT: An optional site visit will be scheduled at the following location:
7 Lancer Loop Ste 107, Dyess AFB, TX 79607
An optional site visit will be held 14 April 2023 at 9:00 a.m. (CST)
Interested contractors should verify their availability for a site visit with alan.mwamba.ke@us.af.mil at (325) 696 - 2215. Attendees must RSVP with the same contact. If the offeror does not have existing base access, an escort will be provided.
QUOTE SUBMISSION INFORMATION: E-mail is the required method for offer submission. The Contracting Specialist or Officer will send a confirmation email once your quote is received. If you do not receive a confirmation email, the Government did not receive your quote. Your offer shall include but is not limited to the following:
1. Complete (must be signed) Page 2 of RFQ (or contractor equivalent*)
2. FAR 52.212-5 Offeror Representations and Certifications
3. Capability Statement

* The offeror is not required to use Page 2 of this RFQ; however, if you chose not to use it, all of the information on Page 2 must be included in your offer.

EVALUATION OF OFFERS: The evaluation for this acquisition will be solely based on lowest price of items that are found to be technically acceptable. By signing its offer, the offeror certifies that each price stated on each CLIN includes an appropriate apportionment of all costs, direct and indirect, all state and local taxes, overhead, and profit.
Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. 0001 Sanding, corrosion repair, repaint, restoration of all existing decal and painted markings using painted re-application. The contractor shall perform limited disassembly of the aircraft and components in an effort to locate and remove all areas of external corrosion. The contractor shall ensure the aircraft is clean and free from dirt, debris, and contaminants. The contractor shall perform corrosion treatment to all external surfaces, reassemble all components and items, and apply final chemical coating treatment to prevent corrosion from spreading.
Finally, the contractor will apply color matching high-gloss paint to the aircraft exterior.
