About this file
This statement of work outlines requirements for portable storage containers to support a Navy training program. The Navy requires two weatherproof containers measuring at least 15 by 6 by 7 feet internally to transport equipment between its training sites. One container will remain at the Navy's Orlando facility while the other will be transported as needed among sites in Meridian, Pensacola, and Kingsville over three years. The vendor must deliver the containers to Orlando and then move them as directed by the Navy between sites, keeping fragile equipment level during transport. The statement of work provides a matrix of potential pickup and delivery locations for planning purposes.
The related solicitation is for these Project Link storage containers and is issued by the Department of the Navy's Naval Air Systems Command.

Background The Government requires two portable storage containers in support of Project Link trainer deliveries. The containers will be moved between NAWTSD and several Naval Air Stations across the country as required over the next three years.
Each portable storage container must have a minimum interior length of 15 feet, a minimum interior width of 6 feet and a minimum interior height of 7 feet. The container must have an entry opening at least 6 feet wide and 6 feet tall, be capable of being locked, and must be constructed such and in a state of maintenance that it is weather proof when the entry opening is closed.
The possible destinations include the following sites:
NAWCTSD Orlando, Partnership 1 Building 12354 Research Parkway Orlando, FL 32826 POC: Rocco Portoghese / 407-380-4610
NAS Meridian Training Air Wing One 101 Fuller Rd, Suite 250 Meridian, MS 39309 POC: Dan Taylor
NAS Pensacola Training Air Wing Six 390 San Carlos Rd, Suite C Pensacola, FL 32508-5509 POC: Shawn Cutchins
NAS Kingsville Training Air Wing Two 3760 E Caesar Ave Bldg 3741, Suite 226 Kingsville, TX 78363 POC: Victor Rodriguez
Description of Effort
1. Two portable storage containers shall be delivered to the NAWCTSD Orlando Partnership 1 Building as soon as practical after the start of service.
2. The Government will alert the vendor when a container has been loaded and is ready to be moved to another destination.
3. The equipment to be transported in the containers is known to be fragile and difficult to secure. It is required that the containers be kept level to the maximum extent possible when loaded or offloaded from the transport vehicle.
4. Delivery sites will be selected from the destination list above.
5. The containers may be sent to the same or separate sites as needed by the Government.
6. The containers may remain at a destination site for any amount of time, limited only by the end of the Period of Performance.
7. The Government will alert the vendor when a container has been emptied, is ready to be returned to the vendor, and service to be ended.
8. Service need not be ended simultaneously for both containers.
9. Service may be ended before the end of the Period of Performance.
All of the sites other than NAWCTSD Orlando are aboard military installations. Personnel must be able to obtain base access.
A spreadsheet is attached that provides all possible combinations of pickup and delivery locations in order to facilitate the creation of the vendor’s quote. The template is organized by year, but the periods of service for each matrix may be defined as the vendor sees fit.
